Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. You might feel intense cold and pressure in the treated area for the first few minutes. As the area numbs, discomfort usually decreases. 

what is the process of getting a coolsculpting elite treatment?

After initial photographs are taken, the provider will outline the area to be treated. A gel applicator will be applied to the skin for protection prior to placement of the CoolSculpting Elite applicators.  

As the treatment begins, a slight vacuum sensation is felt followed by intense cold. After a few minutes, the area will become temporarily numb. While the treatment session is in progress, most patients read or watch TV. When the treatment is completed, the applicators and gel pads are removed, and the area will be massaged for two minutes to help break up the fat cells. A session can last 1-3 hours on average.
