After several years treating patients in the Houston area, she returned to Austin in 2017, the city where she completed her undergraduate degree and always planned to build her career. She joined the Revelus Dermatology team in 2020.
Across her career, Dr. Patel has managed the full range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, from routine skin cancer screenings and surgical excisions to complex medical skin conditions. Her clinical research training informs how she practices: treatment recommendations grounded in evidence, explained in plain language, and tailored to each patient’s skin and goals.
Medical dermatology is the core of Dr. Patel’s practice. From skin cancer screenings and surgical removals to acne, rashes, and chronic skin conditions, she provides thorough, evidence-based care for adult patients in Austin. Every visit starts with a careful evaluation and a treatment plan explained in plain language.
Dr. Patel’s practice is centered on medical dermatology, and she performs a focused set of cosmetic treatments that draw on the same clinical and surgical skills. These include Botox for wrinkles and subcision, an in-office procedure that releases the tethered scar tissue causing depressed acne scars. For fillers and other cosmetic treatments, Revelus has providers who specialize in that work.
