what is the cost of a botox treatment? Every single patient is unique, and as a result, treatment plans are individualized to provide the most natural-looking and improved outcome. Therefore, cost varies based on the units needed but this will be communicated to you prior to each treatment during your consultation. A minimum purchase of 20 units per treatment is required.
are botox injections painful? Most patients report a very quick pinch or stinging sensation at the site of their injections, which is usually rated only a 1 or a 2 on a 1-10 pain scale. Many patients are pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy Botox treatments truly are.
how long do the effects of botox last? On average, the effects of Botox tend to last about 3 months, but results may vary. The amount of time that your results will last depends on many factors including how strong your facial muscles are, your metabolism and your personal lifestyle.
how soon will i see the results from botox? You’ll likely notice initial improvements within days of treatment, with full results apparent within one to two weeks. It is important to wait a full 2 weeks before considering a touch-up.
will i need multiple treatments? To maintain the youthful results from Botox, we often recommend regular maintenance treatments, usually 3-4 times per year.
do you have to keep getting botox once you start? Although not required, Botox effects typically wear off within three to six months. As such, continuing treatments will maintain the aesthetic benefits.
what is the process of getting botox? Botox treatments are very quick and relatively painless and can be performed on the same day as a consultation. We recommend avoiding make-up or moisturizer on the day of your appointment. Once your face is cleaned and prepped, your provider will inject the Botox into targeted muscles using a very small needle to achieve results that are improved and natural-looking. You will be asked not to lay down flat for at least 4 hours, avoid exercise or flying in an airplane for 24 hours.

is it possible to be a 'non-responder' to botox? Unfortunately, there are reports of patients who do not respond to Botox or who stop responding to Botox over time. This is thought to be related to the development of “neutralizing antibodies” to Botox but is still relatively poorly understood. Talk to your provider about your options if you feel that you are experiencing a non-responder effect.
