what is the cost of a restylane treatment?

Cost of Restylane treatments varies based on individual needs and treatment plan. We provide a cost estimate during your pre-treatment consultation. Restylane treatments are eligible for rewards including special offers and promotions. Check out the specials page for more information.   

are restylane injections painful?

Discomfort with treatment is usually minimal and measures are taken to ensure your comfort. There may be a slight stinging sensation or prick at the time of injection.  A topical anesthetic is applied before treatment and local anesthetics are often combined with the dermal filler to minimize discomfort.    

how long does restylane filler last?

Results from Restylane filler injections may last anywhere from 6-24 months depending on the person, type of filler used, and areas treated. Results may vary.  

how soon will i see the results from restylane?

Depending on the specific filler used and the areas treated, a noticeable result should be visible immediately after treatment. Full effects take 14 days to appear. 

will i need multiple treatments?

Periodic maintenance treatments are often recommended to maintain the results from Restylane treatments. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are metabolized by the body over time. As such, it is recommended to keep up with your Restylane treatments once every 1-2 years or whenever you feel needed to help maintain your volume, structure, and youthful glow.  

what areas can be treated with restylane?

The Restylane Collection of Fillers are versatile, unique products that are FDA-approved to treat various areas of the face. The most common areas treated with filler include the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, under the eyes, the chin and the lips.  

what is the process of getting restylane?

A cosmetic consultation is required prior to scheduling a Restylane treatment. 

On the day of your treatment, avoid makeup or moisturizer. We’ll apply numbing cream for your comfort, clean the area, and mark it for precise injections. Most patients can expect a slight prick and stinging sensation during each injection that is mild.   

Depending on the specific filler used and the areas treated, a noticeable result should be visible immediately after treatment. Full effects take 14 days to appear.  

are there any side effects of restylane fillers?

Restylane fillers are safe, FDA-approved injections. Common side effects with Restylane include minor redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or palpable lumps/bumps. These particular side effects are quite normal and often resolve within a few weeks. More serious side effects can occur but are rare. Talk with your provider more about side effects and potential risks during your consultation.   

is there anything i should avoid before or after a restylane treatment?

We recommend avoiding make-up on the areas to be treated on the day of your treatment. If possible, avoid blood thinning medications such as Aspirin, NSAIDS, or fish oils, if possible, for 7 days prior to your treatment to help lessen the chance of bruising. Alcohol should also be avoided for at least 3-4 days prior to your treatment.  

After your Restylane injections, alcohol and exercise should be avoided for 24 hours. We recommend sleeping with a slight elevation of your head and using ice packs on/off for a few days to reduce any normal swelling.

should i get filler or botox?

Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane help replace lost facial volume, improve lines and folds, and enhance a person’s natural features. Botox on the other hand, is used to treat lines and wrinkles that result from dynamic movement (muscular contraction). Often times, botox and filler are used together to achieve an overall enhancement. Talk to your provider about your cosmetic goals so that we can make a tailored treatment plan for you.
