how should i prepare for my focused appointment?

It is generally advised to come with a clear understanding of your concern, any relevant personal and family medical history, and up to date medication and allergy lists.  

Be ready to discuss when you first notice the issue and any changes over time. You can also bring older photos to show and copies of any recent labs or other testing.  

can i bring up additional concerns during my focused appointment?

It is important to us to make every minute counts and we appreciate your understanding as we work to provide quality service to all our patients. 

can i schedule a focused appointment over telemedicine?

Yes, we do offer telemedicine for Focused Appointments. However, the suitability of telemedicine depends on the nature of the concern; some issues may still require an in-person evaluation for a thorough assessment. It’s always best to check with us over the phone when scheduling so that we may provide triage with telemedicine limitations in mind to ensure that you are offered the most appropriate appointment type.
